ANDREU'S WORK
Born in 1965 in Reus, Tarragona, Andreu Buenafuente is a communicator and one of the country’s leading comedians with an extensive artistic career.
He likes to experiment, and that is why he enjoys different plastic arts: from painting to illustration, including photography. Buenafuente has had a special relationship with art for more than 30 years; Self-taught, he takes his inner world as a reference point to create. Light, colours, composition and lines are reflected with strength and delicacy in all his work.
He has held exhibitions in Barcelona and Girona, in addition to having collaborated with a cartoon in The New York Times (2008).

The artist reflects a reiteration of his speech in different phases of his emotional state. Often, the works evoke a very specific moment in the situation experienced during confinement. The union and chaining of geometric shapes, together with colour, allow us to sense the passage of time.
