JAUME VILASECA

Jaume Vilaseca was born in Barcelona in 1968. He studied piano and harmony at the Conservatorio Municipal de Barcelona and in Liceu. Completed his training with courses and seminars in the Taller de Músics and Esmuc.

He is also a graduate in Filología Hispánica by Universitat de Barcelona.

The trajectory of his Barcelona trio is enormously fruitful in terms of collaborations with restless musicians, experimentation and search for stylistic horizons and also for the number of performances performed during these years.

Jaume has presented his works in many jazz festivals in cities such as Bogotá, Barranquilla (Barranquijazz), Cali (Ajjazgo), Manizales, Manchester, Brussels, Corsica (NoraJazz), Malaysia, Beijing, Guanzhou, South Korea (Jarasum) as well as such as numerous concerts in Colombia, India, Mexico, Morocco, Poland or the Dominican Republic, and of course Spain (Madrid, Almeria, San Javier…) and its city, Barcelona.
