Nicolaus Gelin Exhibition, from July 3 to 7 at Puy & Co.

On July 3rd, PUY&CO presents the Nicolaus Gelin Exhibition

Ressonnance, founded by Stéphane Clément and Nicolaus Gelin, sound installation artists originally from Miami and now based in New York, will present a one-week residency at our art gallery and performance center Puy & Co. in Barcelona, from July 1st to 9th. Combining live trumpet, ambient textures, and immersive sound design, the duo will perform every other day throughout the week, offering meditative sound baths that invite stillness, emotional release, and connection. Each performance will transform the space into a sanctuary for reflection and healing through intentional art.

We will also unveil our first sound installation, created in collaboration with Nicolaus Gelin’s exhibition, which will run from July 3rd to 7th.

In addition to the exhibition, Ressonnance will showcase a selection of their personal photography developed over the past few years. The collection features intimate scenes from their time in Miami and New York, capturing moments of quiet beauty, urban energy, and emotional resonance through their lens.

About Nicolaus Gelin

Nicolaus Gelin, where music and photography intertwine with deep empathy and vision. Originally from Miami, Florida, Nicolaus is recognized for his virtuosity on the jazz trumpet, having received prestigious honors such as the YoungArts award and recognition from the Knight Foundation for his soundtrack in an award-winning short film. Since 2021, his exploration of analog photography has reflected his musical mastery, merging the tactile with the sensory. His camera is not merely a tool for capturing images, but a medium for distilling the very essence of life into tangible textures that can be felt in every photograph.
